Summer in Lapland is a time when the northern nature comes to life
With the sun never setting, the days are filled with light and energy. Lapland’s summer is a unique and enchanting experience, offering stunning landscapes, the light of the midnight sun, and a variety of activities.
Forests and fells don a green cloak while plants bloom in vibrant colors alongside. The landscapes become fairy-tale-like as lakes reflect the brilliance of the midnight sun.
Hiking trails open up, offering opportunities to explore the local nature. Hike in the fells, follow the river’s flow, or relax in the forest’s silence. Birdwatching and fishing are also popular summer activities, providing a chance to get to know the area’s diverse inhabitants. Nearby, there are several sandy beaches where you can spend a day with friends or family.
You can hop into a rowboat waiting by the cabin for an evening row. Life jackets are available at the reception. If you wish, you can also rent a battery-powered outboard motor. We also provide guidance on obtaining fishing permits, such as the national fishing management fee and local fishing permits.
